Stevens pass rv lot has been a long family tradition that many of us have passed on the tradition of skiing . Well not so fast there’s a new sherrif in town Joel Martinez operations manager for stevens pass. Because of the frustrations involved with managing the upper rv lot( never having a consistant policy) he took the abrupt way out ! A jab in the rear and a poke in the eye. Joel JACKED the rv passes 80% at a time when all the other passes have gone down in price.Joel also has stopped the first come first serve policy for getting an rv spot. Stevens pass has effectively taken away a fair policy that catered to all economic users ! Many of the ski families will not endure the outragas price increase ! Stevens Pass has lost sight of making their services availible to the average family . HEY ARENT WE IN A RECESSION SHOULDNT PRICING BE DROPPING AT A TIME LIKE THIS ?? TIME FOR A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM AT STEVENS PASS

Absolutely, this whole thing smacks of strange. Price skyrockets as available space plummets?? The worst possible move the mountain could have made was this, and I had no real intention of leaving the lower lot next season as it is. Next season will leave both lots worse for the wear, on all parties involved. The mountain reasons it out and states that this is the last year any of us will be on that side but thats not enough. Im am wary of any new plans that leave us and our rv dollars further away from the mtn. Its very disapointing to imagine the scenario next winter in the lower lot, it was tight enough down there as it is…now its going to get alot worse.
With the revenue stream that we provide as mountain users, in the bars, restaurants, shops and retail areas, why alienate? From and F&B perspective, we are the only constant.
New management? Sure, DUMP JOEL and get a professional involved.
