Its true, the pass situation up there is shady as hell, to the point of utter visibility. Who really is going to shell out 2,200 just to plug in for a series of weekends and maybe a one week stretch sometime over the Winter? Its alot of coin for what is in all reality: limited use. Whats with putting the day-users at the front? Isnt that backwards? I say shove em in the back...and put the pass holders up front but what do i know.
I didnt know about the Woodinville meeting, I would have liked to been there.
Low income users? Im not so sure about that. Some of us down there accumulate wealth by recognizing a bad shake, like this one.

Next year is going to be interesting, when we are all herded across the street.

thx for your comment, its a good one.

Stevens Pass one again has sold rv passes under a ruse of a contract I wouldnt wipe my ass with. Prior to selling the rv passes several letters were sent out defining what the use and layout of the upper rv lot would be. Only after "not selling" the rv lot out they changed the discription of the upper rv lot. They would now park cars there.

HEFFY was kind enough to check with the USDAFS and found out that Stevens Pass would not be using that rv lot as approved by the USDAFS. In a nut shell the upper lot was not approived for parking cars other than related to the rv.
Stevens Pass can eat crow ! they ripped off anyone who bought an rv pass. Stevens Pass GOUGES POKES and SNEARS at this user group.

Stevens wants to build mountain bike trails on the mountain I wonder what the gouge will be to use that ? STEVENS PASS / HARBOR PROPERTIES SUCKS !
One special note to the users of the lower lot . The meeting attendees in Woodinville 10-06-09 fought for the upper lot to be open to day use pass holders (lower lot folks).

This special intrest rich crowd is BS that Stevens Pass is trying to use to shut out the use of this upper lot to the low income user group.
