10 million gallons o’ raw sewage dumped into Elliott Bay

An estimated 10 million gallons of untreated wastewater was discharged into Elliott Bay on Monday night from the West Point Treatment Plant in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood.

    Ewwie! No thank you. I think I will hold off on my beach walks for a couple days.

    Although it couldn’t be much worse than when they were putting in new sewage lines over the summer and the heat and wind carried it all the way down the beach. It smelled soooo bad some days!
