Stevens Pass has closed its Terrain Park and all backside operations starting now through tomorrow, allegedly reopening full ops come Wednesday the 13th. Open tomorrow will be Hogs/Chief/Sky/Tye and of course Daisy. We skied the 68″ base all weekend in every condition you can imagine and it wasnt bad but it wasnt great. I imagine that the decision to close half the mountain stems from wanting to keep all us off trail riders from getting shanked by poor coverage……in places like Corona Bowl or anywhere off sides in the Jupiter/Southern Cross chutes.
