The week brought some good things, including this gift set from Itchy B and his delightful sidekick, Ursula. Composer Warren Ellis’ project Dirty Three and apparent title: Live! at Meredith. Im excited to listen to it over the weekend, whilst sipping the recently ubiquitous Absinthe from my new skull adorned rock glass, a fitting companion piece for listening….or as my life would dictate…just about anything.

Give both pieces time to breathe, then bloom. They are each stunning, in typical fashion for Ellis. I missed the local show late last year, a casualty of early ski season. I regret that of course, but I did see him at Nick Cave a number of years back.
