CREEP / Days by Young Turks

Like a dark little raincloud, this floated across the skullcandies just now….
They call this….Witch-House. Ive been reading and sampling this genre for a few months, listening here and there but usually with mild derision at the genre itself b/c well……everything is (as fun as it is to discover) so deeply classified these days. Naturally I blame the hipsters, I mean really: witch house? Wtf.
Might as well have pulled something out of your ass such as…..Warlock Scrotum.
That being said……alot of you have noticed my recent but gentle spackling here at Ninja of w-h band: Salem. Salem sounds, feels, tastes, beautifully sooty and viscerally earthen in a very primal right. I like it, I cant help myself. Its huge, dramatic and very well composed.
The jam here, doesnt have the same elements that I recognize in my still new journey into the genre, such as it is. There are some components there sure, that align themselves with what Ive noticed in other of its ilk, but mostly it smacks of vampish 20-somethings on blow at 6am. Sort of a fluffy kind of sinister.

Side-note: Coming home the other night a song came on from one of Beck’s albums from circa ’93 and they called it vintage indie.

Lone Wolf

I’ve been getting alot of interesting remarks about the Lone Wolf Project that I just posted last night. Lone Wolf is part of a possible deal with an ammunition website to spearhead all the market shots/sale pieces, this was the first shoot to figure out which direction I want to take this photographically. I dont normally have ammo laying around the house nor am I a teabagging, right wing nut. Nor do i have a cabin in the woods where I will live and raise a feral little anti guhv’mynt family.
As I was shooting them and noting the type/grain/name in a Moleskine I couldnt help but notice the individual ferocity of each piece. These things are built to fuck you up, some worse than others. To a degree its sad to think about: the ones with the hollowed tips are designed to bloom upon impact, open up and not leave the body, maximizing carnage, while the smooth tipped ones will sail through a target effortlessly.

There are some really nice shots regardless.

Medieval Sunday!!

Driving between snowboard shops Sunday on a last minute gear scramble I happened to pass by GasWorks park where I randomly spotted a fully bedecked medieval Knight (accompanied by glorious wench) lurking on a forested knoll alongside a small child which I mistakenly assumed was an elf! I freaked out and jammed gears into the parking lot, leaping out with camera and an Irish determination to hunt the wench, elf and Knight down. In total disbelief I stealthily crept into the forest where I last saw them, suddenly I smelled food (rotisserie chicken?)….some sort of medieval feast it seemed was happening, splendid crucibles and chalices were noted, glinting in the mid day sun as they were bandied about by….more knights in full armour??? I heard a wench call out to a child who responded in kind and then through the branches of the dense fir I was hiding behind I saw a colorful display in an empty field, an arena of sorts. That display was a sword wielding Knight calling out to anyone who would try his hand and meet death, who would come he bellowed! Who would heed the call of certain death or glory!! Are there none among you?!?!?! FOOLS!
ok none of that is true, there was no roaring challenge but there should have been.
The knight was however taunting the field of possible opponents with peacockery and panache, strutting about wonderfully like a bird in heat as noted below.
Finally answering the call, a horrifying spectre approached the arena; some sort of orc it seemed…..strode forth with bloody confidence to destroy the Man, the Man in fact who very much appeared before my minds’ eye as one of the lost Sons of Gondor. I was hoping to hear the Horn of Gondor trumpet but alas, it was not to be. The Orc carried a maul/warhammer, bloodied at its violent tip and accompanied by no shield, as other opponents were so adorned. Orc was a menacing fright to behold.

Its snowing like hell in the High Country, gonna be nuking here @ Sea level come Sunday. You better chain up those tires, this town drives like garbage when it snows. I’ve a photo shoot down South come Sunday for an ammunition website but after that its downtown with the camera. I love this city under a blanket of snow.
Ive been feeling bad for David Arquette lately. He cried during a sexual encounter with a woman other than his then-wife. Nobody is busting his balls for being a low-life cheater, everyone is jibbing his ass because he cried. Damn right you cried. You better cry you douche.
Oh David is a scrote ahahaha because he cried mid stroke while he was destroying his family.
Doesnt anyone give a fuck anymore? Imagine the future of the kids we are breeding who see this as the norm.
David Arquette cried after or during sex. Im glad. At least he knew what he was doing was fundamentally jacked up. Last night Jonny Mosely was all over his female guest, talking about how hot she was, making comments about her body and totally crossing lines. I wondered if his wife was listening, or his kid.
It pissed me off, Ive always thought he was a stand up guy. Im so sick of the way our society treats everything so disposably: marriages, kids, relationships, jobs etc…..

The 67-page online publication, written in colloquial English and launched last month, features flashy graphics and punchy headlines like “Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom,” as well an article on global warming said to be written by Bin Laden.

Fox News pays off in spades every few months, this one is a jackpot. ……..admit it, Bin Laden writing about global warming is funny.
