I shot 600 photos at the skate demo held during the Ski/Shred Expo at Seattle’s Convention Center this weekend, here are a few of the bounty.
Included in the set are a bunch from the Zombie Flash Mob @ Westlake Center Saturday evening, I will release those into the wild sometime Tuesday.
This was my first skate session ever so I didnt get the success rate I hoped for but there are some good pics regardless; I will process and post them throughout the week. If you skated the event then I have pics of you, keep an eye on Ninja to collect whatever you want as I post them. I talked to most the riders there that day, if you guys are sessioning anywhere in Seattle let me know and I will come out and hone some skills and you will score some killer shots of yourself in return or just go session @ Ballard Bowl Wednesday evening around 6, I will be there.

Im a huge Mike Vallely fan, always have been. Last year I spent the Winter riding through the trees of Stevens Pass crouched low and fast, the same way he rides his decks, trying to learn how to keep everything on a good keel. Its tough riding like that, utilizing muscles that arent normally used but it was rewarding.
Last year Mike V declared he was dropping off the grid, going dark. He killed all of his online presence except Revolution Mother and went comepletely underground, nothing was heard from him in many many months. Then a youtube clip surfaced and then a radio spot and now Im happy to see that his website is back up and running at full steam. Another couple of days of this heavy activity from him and Im throwing him on the feedburner to the right.
