TWITTER HUNT SUNDAY
Be sure to follow Tony on Twitter on Sunday for the 2nd Annual Easter Weekend Twitter Hunt. Some of the stuff being hidden includes electric guitars from Dean, Kicker boom boxes, awesome Yum Tasty snacks, T-Mobile Fender phones, Golden Grahams, Quiksilver stuff, Flip video cameras, Omatic snowboards and TONS of other stuff. Oh yeah, and skateboards.

I asked Hawk about the Seattle session this morning and he kicked it off for us with a pic of the fremont troll. We went to the troll, found our first clue and then followed the trail all the way through the 3 cadbury eggs at the rose garden at the locks. After that the trail went stone cold. We think some-one snaked the next clue from there. I ate one peep out of every clue and one cadbury egg at the Locks. It was super fun and we were running hot until we got stonewalled at the Locks.

We found the eggs stashed in the roses easily enough but thats where everything died. From there we went to the skate bowl and poked around but it was no-dice.

UPDATE 4:48PM

the goods were in fact in the rose garden and in the trees. We were there an hour late so we missed the action: a backpack and a signed deck.

“The ‘newspaper stand’ is soon becoming a forgotten way to communicate with the public. With more online news subscriptions being made, newspaper companies are leaving these structures abandoned. I want to use this endangered specie as a new way to communicate with the public once more. This is achieved using the concept of ‘site specific’ in the real world as well as the online world, and also by introducing a different concept of ‘time specific’. This technique helps to create a story on the street as well as the webpage in which the images are added to. Each newspaper stand represents a single page in the story “The Story of How Things Came to Bee”. Once the newspaper stand is placed back in the location from which it was originally borrowed from, a picture is taken at the exact time in which the story takes place. By adding the images to the webpage it allows for a narrative to bee created by using ‘notes’ (these are viewed by scrolling over the image) which can not bee seen on the street. Lastly, a map showing the locations of the newspaper stand is sited as well, allowing the online viewer to travel to each location and view these scenes in real life.”

Cobwebs have been building all week around here yes, but behold the glory of Sunday night! A return to normal now awaits you. In the ninja oven this week bakes two docs: one on sailing and the other on surfing.

If you’ve spent the grueling ten minutes watching the Kachess Lake footage, let me tell you that the remastered version feat. hits from the film Deliverance as backdrop is vastly greater than the silent film noted previously. Youtube refuses to let me upload the Deliverance version. Damn you, Youtube.

Books: Ive finished reading my Beekeepers tutorial and now im re-reading Bukowski for the thousandth time.

Since ive been gone Palin has resigned, Sanford has not and Korea is still acting like a huge twat. Michael the Creeper Jackson is still dead.
The rest of the year will be a total shitshow and frankly its too fascinating to not be depressed about, in regards to going to hell in a prettily  adorned handbasket. We are surrounded by a cacophony of idiots, whom we pay to act accordingly. Bush will release his book soon and frankly i cant wait to read it, I don’t care what anyone has to say to me about it, its going to be a damn good read. We noted last week the fact that history is taking place faster than we are able to consume, Bush’s book will slow things down for as long as it takes to finish.
Above lies a snip out of footage I shot over the past two days from Neah Bay, filming friends doing their best to tame the Sea, so long as it brought them a fast ride towards shore…
